About the event

Ayurveda, the wisdom of self-healing, offers a wealth of tools for seasonal balance. During the winter months, it’s common to feel ungrounded, cold, dry, or anxious. Modifying your yoga practice and self-care routine to warm and ground the body/mind is a powerful reset.


Join Julia Davis-Voss and Sarah Guglielmi from the Himalayan Institute of Buffalo for a day of Ayurvedic study and practice.  Our morning session will focus on Ayurvedic fundamentals (elements and doshas) and a winter balancing yoga practice to use at home. After lunch, learn how to apply Ayurvedic principles to your daily routine and kitchen sadhana for more support.


Students of all levels are welcome - even those without yoga experience!


Please bring your own lunch. We will provide water, tea, and light refreshments.
