About the event

Pilgrim’s Progress: A Contemplation on Living Spiritually

with Unyo Priscilla Brown

Throughout history, stories abound of religious practitioners setting forth on a journey seeking inspiration, awakening, enlightenment, realization, truth, a blessing, obeying a vow, or one born out of devotion, gratitude, or longing because they had to make a journey to progress on their path. As spiritual beings living in our precious human family, that kind of action can deepen our faith or sense of purpose, but is it necessary to go somewhere for fulfillment?

During our retreat day, participants will be invited to explore the richness of one’s own personal pilgrimage using meditation, note-booking, and discussion of this essential theme to see more clearly the spiritual path in daily living.

Lunch will be provided by the Southern Tier Sangha.
