About the event
Tradition, Trauma, and Tenderness explores how cultural traditions, creative expression, and everyday acts of care help individuals, families, and communities heal from trauma. Through diverse stories and expert insights, this documentary reveals the power of storytelling, music, art, and nurturing connections to support resilience and healing.
The 90-minute documentary film is currently airing on PBS and was accepted in the Buffalo International Film Festival, the Stockholm City International Film Festival, and the Cannes World Film Festival.
