The Center of Solitude
The Center of Solitude opened in 1992 on a gorgeous 60-acre hillside site in Allegany County, NY. Founded by Sr. Donna Marie Paolini and a sister organization with OMC, its mission is to enable retreatants to grow spiritually in solitude and silence.
The Center of Solitude offers 60 Acres of restful
silence and beauty.
The hermitage is a heated all-season retreat cabin with a full kitchen and bathroom.
When the Hermitage is not reserved, the Main House is available for one-day or residential group retreats.
OMC warmly invites inquiries on becoming a Friend (Individual) or Affiliate (Organization)
of The Center of Solitude. Friends and Affiliates benefit from reduced fees and priority scheduling for Solitary Retreats and from Retreat Programs. Inquiries should be directed to OleanMeditation@gmail.com.
